新型冠状病毒通告
本园于3月9日傍晚接获通知，园里一位学生家长被医院确诊感染新型冠状病毒。据本园记录，有关学生从3月4日（星期三）起至今未到校上课。目前该名学生也没有任何新型冠状病毒的症状。
我们明白父母对孩子们的健康的担忧，及对此事件的关注，本园也已于今年二月初开始尽力做好防范措施，其中包括：每天早上在入园时测量孩子的体温、孩子们在入园时及用点心前均用消毒液洁净双手、按时进行课室消毒工作。
为加强疫情防护，降低感染风险，照顾全园师生的安全，校方从今日开始增加以下防疫措施，敬请家长们体谅与配合：
- 若学生或家中其他成员曾与新型冠状病毒确诊者接触，请即刻向班主任报备，有关学生必须进行14天的居家隔离，方可返校上课。
- 若学生或家中其他成员出国，或家中其他成员从国外高风险地区回来，亦请向班主任报备，有关学生必须进行14天的居家隔离，方可返校上课。
- 若有发烧咳嗽症状者请务必就医，在家休养并向班主任告假。在获得医生准许后方可返校上课。
- 校方吁请学生在3月假期间避免出国。少外出，多休息，减少感染病毒的风险。
同时校方也吁请家长提醒孩子：
● 勤洗手
● 佩戴口罩（如有需要）
● 打喷嚏或咳嗽时用纸巾或手帕掩盖嘴巴和鼻子，之后立即洗手
● 避免用手触摸眼睛，鼻子和口
● 多喝水

Re: COVID-19 Outbreak Matters
One
of our parents has been tested positive for COVID-19 on March 9. According to
our records, the student from this family has not attended school since
Wednesday, 4 March 2020. We have been informed that this student does not
appear to be affected and does not show symptoms of infection.
We
understand the worry from parents about their children’s health amid the spread
of the disease. Our kindergarten has taken preventive measures since early
February to make sure the learning environment is safe. This measures include
temperature-taking, applying sanitizer on student’s hands before classes and before
meal and all classrooms are continuously being disinfected as well.
To
strengthen our on-going preventive measures, the following actions are added:
- Any student or family member who has had
contact with an infected person is asked to make a report at once to their
respective Class Teacher. The student concerned must self-quarantine for a
period of fourteen (14) days, only after that he or she will be allowed to
return to the kindergarten.
- Any student or family member who has returned
from any infected countries is also required to self-quarantine for a
period of fourteen (14) days, only after that he or she will be allowed to
return to the kindergarten.
- Students with flu, fever, cough,
fatigue, or other unwellness are advised to seek medical consultation,
rest at home and report absence to the class teacher.
- Students and their family members are
discouraged from travelling overseas during March school holidays.
We
would like to remind students to:
● Wash their hands frequently.
● Wear a face mask (when necessary).
● Cover their noses and mouths with a tissue
or handkerchief when they sneeze or cough and wash their hands immediately.
● Avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth.
● Drink water regularly.
